I've just received a brochure from Age Concern with this headline:
A Guaranteed way to beat the rising costs of funerals
£30 discount before 28th February 2010
I'm buggered if I'm going to die in the next 3 or 4 weeks just to save (someone else) £30.   
Ain't junk mail luverly.

The only junk mail I get is "Want to grow your penis larger" and the ones for Ciallis and Viagra. LOL sure don't need those. Send um to Mark Martin.

Well, now junk paper mail gives prospects which junk email does not... Those postage paid envelopes they send out; one can stuff them with junk from other junk mailers, along with metal filinings and a bunch of stuff meant to make the envelopes heavy. Remember it's postage paid, and mail is weighed after a certain point and they have to pay more for heavier items. Then ship the junk + heavy trash back, at their expense
If they keep junk mailing, it can become costly for them, rofl
There's also what some people did to AO-Hell. Remember those mass mailed CDs and disks of AOL software? Someone loaded up a garbage truck full of those things, and one early morning when they weren't at work, deposited on the door steps to one of their local offices.
This said, email junk mailers also also aren't closed off to a little turn around

What's even funnier, is any rulling made, to be fair and impartial would have to set precedent which umm, makes it harder for him to mass mail/spam people He can't exactly argue "courts, let me do it to the entire world, but bar anyone from doing it to me" haha. I remember that thread on slashdot; they had people post comments like "oh, I think Mr. Rawlsky would like a Playboy subscription for Christmas" :p Fitting response to all those penis enlarging spams 
Mr. Mabe got one of burial plot marketing calls, telemarketers in his case. He pretended to be distraught and had asked "God for a sign" before the telemarketer called. He was trolling the telemarketer the whole time
