not many of us, and we are not doing much.....
I mean I was first in daily shrubberies yesterday...looks like the real heavy hitters stayed home for this one _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Well, after a rocky start with bad WUs and such, everything seems to be running pretty smooth. Credit my be pretty poor, but the whole operation is running better than MW or Collatz.
Maybe after the PG challenge, we could entice a couple heavy hitters over for a big finish! _________________

Well it would take quite some heavy hitting. I have a temp work around for net access (not ideal and still have to call Verizon); but anyhow 2 hours of crunch time was just 25 credits, vs 53 credits on Milkyway for 1 hr 25 mins or so of crunch time. And that's when the WU doesn't hiccup.
Too bad Milkyway is down for the count. I sorta need their credits whoring to average this one out some. _________________

At the mid-point, KWSN seems to have lost interest in Leiden Classical: 9.7K crunched two days ago and only 6.7K yesterday. If we can't revive interest, I guess we'll just keep slogging on - even at this rate we should pass two more teams...
Guess I'll put next month's vote up early. That way U.S. crunchers who are traveling for Thanksgiving can attach to the new project before leaving... |

Honestly, I am losing interest in the whole PotM thing....
Some of these projects lack "Excitement" _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Yeah, I didn't play this one. I made SIMAP my PoTM because they actually had tons of work, and it'll give me a chance to pass he-who-shall-not-be-named-lest-he-be-summoned in a project, even if only briefly lol.
Poking a sleeping giant in the belly with a stick... fun, but not for the faint hearted. _________________

Fair enough, but what would generate more excitement? Gobs O' points? Taunting? Passing teams? Cutting edge science? |

You expect the impossible in BOINC. QMC is cutting edge science though.

Can't do anything about it at the moment. New HD4890 is en route though, expected Thursday the 19th. Baring some failure like shipping damage, or a bad power supply, it should be up that following weekend. My now-overclocked HD4870 is up to 49,493/day by itself so I imagine the HD4890 will do 60k/day or so? Might be enough to hold you off, we'll see heh. _________________

Hey I am just glad a few more Knights are shrubbing this project, even though we might not have had all the heavy hitters.

Thanks to all the Knigths that participated. I know not all the big hitter participated, but we still made some moves and helped a worthy project.

Final stats:
14th place + 3
1,697,395. points + 329,822
Well, uhhh clearly not one of our better efforts, i.e. worst ever?
Sorry Wabbit, we tried!
