I'm still hitting it fairly hard, although the warm weather here has me shutting down some of my machines (keep the house < 80 Drg F).

If I can hold out until the end of the month, I'll declare myself the winner!
If you pass me before the end of the month, I guess I'll just go and win the LOTPW thread. #ni-2

If it wouldn't get me fired I could write up a job to push the BOINC client and a default project to about 18,000 machines at once. It'd be awesome for the few minutes it took for someone to notice lol.

A Brave Knight should not give up on a quest for treasure so easily! Razz Explore the possbilities, what if you pushed one client per hour? Or say 500 every Sunday morning at 1:00 a.m.?

Perhaps a month is too long for the internet-addled attention span of the modern kanigit. Maybe we need Projects Of The Week! Laughing We should still pass tEaM aNaNdTeCh in about 3 days...

I'd post my production chart, but it's way down in the noise compared to most of y'all...

Milestones yesterday:
ohiomike passed 800,000
Grizzly passed 400,000
LanDroid passed 50,000
Sir Grawlfang passed 20,000
Wyvern7 passed 1,000

I did...I got to 500k and quit...I can't stand any project that pays me less than 30k a day for the amount of electricity I am using...pick a better project for the month and I will spend the whole month doing it...just my honest opinion...

I also want to be over 10 mil before my SETI 10 year anniversary date, which is 11/9/09.

EDIT: I was wrong...I didn't even sniff 26k a day...
Best five days

Well, I thought I had a little longer than one night! But I will also be cutting back for the remainder of this month. So I will give you a few different responses you can choose from:

  1. I graciously accept defeat at the hands of the noble Knight Sir Grawlfang. He is a gentleman and a scholar and I bow as you shrub by.
  2. I let you win. This silly race was beginning to bore me. I only led you on out of the kindness of my heart. I thought you needed a little excitement in your life.
  3. meh, big deal

I've been shrubbing as hard as I can with my shrubbers. My wrok one has slowed during the day because I have had to keep a lot of software going at the same time for various projects, come the end of the day, it's just boinc, so overnight it's ON!

Well I hit it just about as hard as I could for the whole month and got 49K. Not too bad. Now if we get the new PCs at wrok that they have been talking about getting....64 bit ones too. I just may stop my frell fall through the ranks. OK, maybe not stop it, but slow it down a bit.
