Just found this, though the page isn't exactly complete yet (no forums, and the description on the thing is still a work on process)
http://boinc.unsads.com/rsals/index.php
We've got a team there now, though as this is likely in alpha stages? I'm not sure if account creation will remain open or not. Created my account there before they got their project page developed yet.
This said, one might want to wait till they have forums to post bugs to. Thus far the WUs (grabed about 6) had a 100% failure rate. I'll see sometime latter when their reporting forums are up/infastructure in place to communicate errored results to them. _________________

Also, the project is 'cracking encrypted 512-bit Operating System signing keys for Texas Instruments' programmable calculators'. Is this legal?
Where did you find that that's what it's doing? Because, then, the right question is: is it moral?
TIA
Check this link - http://distributedcomputing.info/ap-crypto.html (scroll towards the end of the page).
Also, I translated the link given below in the thread (http://www.rechenkraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=RSA_Lattice_Siever_%282.0%29) into English using Google Language Tools.
I agree on morality being an issue here.
Thanks,
Suneet |

Good old morals coming into play. I am going to stay out of this project.

And so, having no good reason to tarry any longer, our valiant Sir Wabbit

I'm thinking Wabbit likes to locate every project first, on the vastness of the web.
Well anyhow, an email address is in my forum account, they shouldn't have problems finding a contact means + I'm registered on the forums also. This said, I'd actually crunched here for years (though the last several not so much... Ya know? A uni-processor doesn't get much crunch time when one's playing WoW, and then as computers age it becomes a RAM issue to keep projects running in memory while one's gaming.) In that time however, hadn't really changed teams or whatever; so you're safe _________________

Hum....
These guys have not even run the make_project script yet....Maybe I'll sign up once I'm sure it's not just a pointless scam to grab email addresses...

Speaking of the flatulent one. Where the hell is he? While I may miss his presence, i don't miss his malodorous eruptions. I guess we have to take the good with the bad.

If we taunt boinc@australia in genetic life; we could perhaps use both his presense and his flatulence in the taunt Who knows, it might just motivate them to increase their RAC again _________________

But that's just what we don't want them to do - we need to frighten them into a state of quivering-jelly-like stasis, where they are incapacitated to the point of inaction.
But then again, Sir Fart does tend to have that effect on some people, so it may just work. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.
