It seemed to work fine for me. Though I was not running Milkyway at the same time. Hopefully one of us found the cracked message and can finally end World War II. For all we know it could be a message to say a unit is out of sasuages.

Me as well, I quit a few days ago because of server issues. Well done Sir John! Enigma did not play well with others fom the start. You went over and above! To you! I hope yoyo does better.
P.S. I have a (little) surprise. I hope it works out. _________________

I got mine mostly sorted. Required 6.4.7 and a script that runs every 30 minutes that both resets debts and forces a server update. PITA, but it's cruising along.
The sad thing is the problem is their work creator and they don't seem interested in doing anything about it, so once the month is up I won't be going back. _________________

So with the Month winding down, we have come from around 25th to 12th place.
SLIGHT chance we can still grab 11th. How often does the Vault calculate the
Team Points? Once a Month, once a Week? Just how good is 12th spot? I know
a lot of us put our best into it, and I would just like to know it was worth it!
Thanks to ALL for their continued support! PHantasticPHearlessPHastPHred _________________

I believe it's twice a day. But even with an update, it also depends on how often the individual projects update their scores as well. _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

I'm going to keep it churning and burning until the 1st, then I'll set no-new-tasks and let them spin down. Seems extremely unlikely we'll move any higher before then but it can't hurt.
Not a bad climb in stats for a relative small turn out. 21 active members, including 8 new ones (like me). Kinda surprised I've got the 2nd highest RAC in the team (only because Galt got confused and wandered off), with my good buddy Al Dente leading the charge. Wish I could leverage everything, woulda been more fun chasing Al with the 1600/day still churning WCG. _________________

Do you REALLY want to anger me???
I might just run some more and crush your RAC standing.

What's with this "good buddy" bit. I thought we were mortal enemies on each and every project
Does this mean I'll have to re-think my tactics? _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

Hmm, like you're already doing? Pfft, I ain't scairt of you. I can run about with knees bent silly advancing behavior with the best of 'em. What're you gonna do, decode your silly WWII messages faster than me? Isn't that the point? Come get some, you slacker.

Mortal enemies is a bit strong. I had fun chasing you, you won, I moved on. I'm not trying to sneak up on you in projects you're not paying attention to or anything. _________________

We're gonna make it! We're only 50k down from ARS and we got two days left!

Except we're only doing 12k/day more than they are... you need 4 days, and I think interest is waning fast. I bet tomorrow our production is down further. Look at the trend, it fell on its face for PrimeGrid and has only gone down since. Like I said, I'm here to the bitter end, but I don't think we're gonna pass them. Even if we did, our production is going to drop hugely on the 1st and they'd just pass us again. Ah well.

Perhaps Enigma qualifies as a special taunting quest? I don't think we get a chance to pass the mighty Ars Technica very often...

But if we did go for it then we should carry on and nick 10th spot from Calm Chaos too - them being within 10 days of us.

Hat tip to Jerwa for producting over 120K points on a project he doesn't like that disrupts his finely tuned farm...
That's the POTM spirit!
