Post your stats from the challenge, as per the # and length of the primes, as found on your account page (like we are doing for Enigma).

Code:
AP26 tasks
Completed tests 5067
Found of length 20 4
Found of length 21 1

Sorry guys, I had a box at work today I wasn't able to get to to force an update this afternoon. I last updated it at 7:30 this am but was tied up in a meeting at corporate HQ from 8:30 till 4:30. It probably wouldn't have helped much though. It's a P4 3.0 Ghz HT. It might have had 10 or so ready to update.

I thought as long as the were downloaded and completed within the challenge period they still counted even if you upload them later. Not sure about that though.

We'll see. I'll update as soon as I get to work tomorrow. It still won't make a significant difference though.

Sheesh! PrimeGrid is having a 'Challenge' every MONTH! (Well, almost...)

We'll have to put our PotM on hold every month we try to do this.

Just PHinished July, and they plan on another five days in August!

Quote:
18-23 August Woodall LLR Dog Days of Summer 5 days

Quote:
Cullen-Woodall Search: searching for mega primes of forms n*2n+1 and n*2n−1.

Quote:
There are 2 different kinds of applications available: LLR and sieve. LLR tests the primality of one number and returns whether it is prime or not. But it would take a lot of time to LLR all candidates. So the sieve takes a lot of candidates and removes the composite ones (that are not prime) by finding factors that divide the composite, so LLR'ing them is not necessary. The sieve however, cannot find any primes.

At least we have a few weeks to try and get ready for it... Change your Preferences over at PrimeGrid... Sigh...

I almost had you Sir Phred:
Code:
304 KWSN - PhastPhred The Knights Who Say Ni! 1034.35
306 stooper101 The Knights Who Say Ni! 1020.75

If only I wasn't working and could have forced an update on all those WUs waiting in vain. Or better yet, boinc manager could have at least updated more often.

Now if I could only figure out what's wrong with the phenom, then I could hold you off in Enigma #ni-1
