Apologies to the people who have had birthdays. Embarassed

I need a birthday list sexytary. Any takers? I'll send a copy of the list over, er, when I can find it. Embarassed

Too much fiddling around with linux distros, can't find all the backup discs Rolling Eyes

, too much study stress, too much job application stress, too much health stress and haven't had time to boinc. I really must set it up again now that I've settled on xfce ubuntu (until I change my mind again).

Try to stay around longer. We now have crazy POTM every month or so. I am sure in a few days all that stress will disappear.

We've been a bit busy here on the backside of the world lately. Couple of big dust storms, some bush fires (none too close to us), very dry but the prospect of some rain or storms over the next few days. But we've been very lucky compared to the poor souls in Samoa, American Samoa and Sumatra. Very sad indeed.

Anyhoo, I still don't have a job because nobody seems to want an old chook but the boy child got a job at a computer shop here and he's been there for about six weeks now. Already had a spending spree and built himself a new computer. Laughing

I'm almost finished my Diploma of Arts and I start on the BA next month (summer semester). I've also got two weeks of work experience coming up next month at the local newspaper, arranged by the job network place I'm with. Probably only answering phones, making coffee etc but it could lead to a job there in the future and it will be interesting to see a newspaper from the inside so to speak.

I've really got to start boincing again too. After the foray into the world of various linux distros, I realised that most of the stuff I need to use for Uni and other things need windoze. Rolling Eyes

I've reluctantly gone back to xp but still haven't set boinc up again.
