4 minutes left on the last Enigma WU I've got. Everything but Enigma, SIMAP, and MW are now set to No New Tasks. Still hasn't requested more work, but it's got a lot queued so I'll update again after it chews through some of this.
Update: Well here we are hours later and...
7/2/2009 12:22:55 AM|Enigma@Home|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. Requesting 43200 seconds of work, reporting 0 completed tasks
7/2/2009 12:23:00 AM|Enigma@Home|Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
7/2/2009 12:23:00 AM|Enigma@Home|Message from server: No work sent
Notice it doesn't say project has no work? Just says no work for j00! After diggin through my logs I found that it's started giving me download errors too, but weird ones:
7/1/2009 11:38:59 PM|Enigma@Home|Started download of yqwk__0
7/1/2009 11:39:00 PM|Enigma@Home|Giving up on download of yqwk__0: file not found
Server status shows lots of WUs available, even lots ready to go, it just won't send any to me (or lots of other people based on this thread). I reset the project with no joy too, thinking it might be the optimized app.
Frankly this is just too much work for a project I don't even "believe in," as it were so this is my last posting on the subject. Sorry guys (and girl), looks like my first official attempt at a POTM is at an end only 2 days into the month.
FWIW my X2 3800+ isn't getting any more work from the project either. I've set it to No New Work, but will let it run down through the queue of work it already has.
On the plus side I got more credit in 2 days than I have total from Pirates.
The image is lagging behind by a bit. I'm currently at 1,016 total @ 96.57 RAC. _________________

I'm also getting "No work sent", checksum errors and computation errors on Enigma.
I call for either a re-vote or go to one of the runners-up in the second vote from the first vote.
All in favor, say Ni! _________________

I'm pretty sure that the guy running Enigma is doing so on even more of a shoestring budget than I am with Genetic Life (at least my server stays up - even if there are three teams pounding it and eating up all the work). Going to let the work I've got complete before deciding if to switch to alphabeti-spaghetti.
Ni!

It looked like I was getting the same errors as you guys last night. I got a couple WUs this morning. I was beginning to think that as soon as everybody stopped getting new tasks, that it started to fix itself. Must have been you guys that broke it
Or maybe admin was getting storms. Highly suspect. Do you think this guy is in cahoots with the Cows???

I have had one PC out of four with any errors at all
On that PC, four in a row, none since them...
The lady with that PC shut her PC down, so I reset the Preferences to be NOT save in memory
Don't know if that was the problem or not, but figgered it'll help!
So - How do we stand after a couple days, mis-steps and all?
We showing a dent yet?

I just caught this reply. All may not be lost at enigma.
Should we give it another go? _________________

Knights cannot be defeated by lowly Polish storms, SHRUB ON!
When you can...
We must employ 21st century technology to at last defeat the accursed Nazi machine.
Need more motivation? Do NOT make me bring on the Polish bikini team!

Thanks for the update. It looks like I'm getting a bit work now. Just have to work through some Genlife WU's and I'll be back on it full time on a couple of machines. _________________

All our Enigma stats: http://boincstats.com/stats/team_graph.php?pr=enigma&id=83
If we kept our current RAC we'd be in the top 10 teams.
Our current stats say nobody is going to pass us (weird) but we're going to pass 3 of these this month. If our RAC goes up so will the # of teams. There's some dead weight ahead of us that are not producing at all or barely that we'll pass if we get some credits movin.
PS: I've rejoined the POTM efforts. Got new work, just have to wind down the other projects again (especially SIMAP, got a TON after it said it was out of work, which is awesome). _________________

Good job JerWA! Another digital hat tip....
At this rate we'll pass da Kowz in 12 daze or less. Anyone know how to bark like a seal? (That's what Dutch sounds like.) I feel another taunt disaster coming on!
