Here you go: http://www.enigmaathome.net/forum_thread.php?id=17

Be sure to use the Athlon 64 exe file or you'll lose all your WU's

EDIT: This is if you are using a 64 bit Windows OS. The second of the two files you download includes several exe files based on processor type. One of them is for Core 2 processors, but if you use that one with a 64 bit OS you'll lose everything. I'm not sure about the Linux apps.

Can't I just attach to it? I don't want to futz with optimized apps. For various reasons, I've had to shut down most of my farm. I'm back to just the Opty and a single-processor P4, both Windoze (XP home on the former, and XP pro on the latter)

And do they pay decently? My standings have flat plummeted the last two months, and I hardly have any shrubbers now, to boot.

Their doggone site: http://www.enigmaathome.net/ seems to be non-responsive, as well

I've been running Enigma for weeks now and this is the first time that I recall an issue with their website. Maybe we're overwhelming them. #ni-1

Whatever. I tried again, and managed to attach. Their download failed. I tried an update, and it said it was too soon (134 sec). Kiss my pasty white, knightly posterior! I went ahead and downloaded some WUs from Milkyway. If they want to send this shrubber (which is what passes for a fast machine in these parts) some WUs, fine. Otherwise, oh well.

BTW, I forgot that my son's 3400+ Venice box is still online, so I still have three whole shrubbers in my former-farm-now-garden.

I've been doing this for a while, and I've never seen such a Charlie Foxtrot. I especially liked when the client asked for more work too soon for Enigma's taste.

Yeah, I'd have to say the project is aptly named.

I just had a bunch of those myself. Might be time to find a new PoTM.

Well, on my two machines, I have completed eight with no errors and am still working on or awaiting to work on the rest, another 15 WUs.

I am not running an Enhanced App.

The machine I had the trouble with didn't have optimized apps on it. We'll see how the rest go.

It seems they may have gotten thigs sorted out over at Enigma. I've downloaded new tasks using the optimized client and crunching now.
