HD is gone on the fritz again so i'll offline until i can everything running again. Wierd how 1 lil freeze followed by a hard reboot can make a mess of things. Everthing from CMOS losing the HD info to drives C and D swapping places. Grrr. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

Now down to one Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 that's in a tiny case and overheats if I actually try to use all four cores at the same time. On the other hand, it makes for a very nice home theater PC

Hard drive is busted.. disks don't spin anymore, for now running on a 4GB HD from a very old system that was kicking around the house. Not too sure on what i should get for my next HD... might just replace with same size (250GB Seagate) or find a nicely priced SSD (solid state drive) Prices dictate everything right now, $84 Cdn for the same size Seagate vs. $320 for a 60GB SSD. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

I'm sticking with the regular HDD until the SSD prices come down some more. Some stores sell OEM drives for quite a bit less than the nicely packaged drives. Have you checked that out? _________________
