|
|
There is a local free Book Review that is being published, and with the March 2009 issue I will now be published monthly. In my first issue I only reviewed two books, one on page 12 and the other on page 15. For the April issues I will have 4 or so in there, pages yet to be decided. You can read them for free on the website http://sacramentobookreview.com/?page_id=403 has the list of all the issues that have been published.
You can see the which ones I reviewed since they have my name at the end, and my name is Kevin Winter, so check it out.

Checked, and nice work too!
Are you assigned books, or do you get to pick what you review?

We are given a list at the beginning of the month of possible books, we choose about 6 we want, and then whoever gets their list in first get the books first. After a couple of days they send out a revised list of books still available and you can reuqest ones directly that have not been taken already.

Some of the books that I have read, that could be considered must reads:
A Tolerable Anarchy
The First Tycoon (A Vanderbilt biography)
After Genocide
I have not really read anything amazing yet in science fiction/fantasy.

Are they some of the ones that they are giving away? If so, how do we go about getting them for the aforementioned free? _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!
