Woot! 2,000,000 in combined credit with 1,400,000 in GPUGrid alone. I may have finally joined the "Million a Month" club.

That's great Shoob! Congrats!
@Phred, Adding a graphics card to a computer is the least expensive way to bump up the RAC a bit. Just keep in mind you may have to upgrade the power supply as well. Have you ever checked out craigslist? You can find some good deals there on systems or parts. You just have to watch for the idiots that think their stuff is gold. _________________

If you can scrap enough cans to get a 9800GTX at least, you won't regret it.

Yeah, the page he linked says 3 Teslas and a Quadro (my thought is why screw around - put at least a 280 in it), though it says there is such a thing as a single-slot 4850, so you could theoretically run seven. You'd need God's own PSU for that rig, though.
There was an outfit that made an auxiliary PSU just for running GPU's. They're not made any more, but I think they're still available from the factory as refurbs (at a fraction of the original price). I've toyed with going that way when I'm finally able to afford building an uber-shrubber. _________________

Two good 1K watters ought to do it. You can make one of them external. _________________

Frozen CPU has a Lian Li PSU splitter that allows 2 PSUs to be turned on with 1 switch...I PSU for the MB and drives, 1 for the graphics...about $15... _________________

3 of these 4 of these.......
Or another combination if you prefer
$460 for the board
$550 for a 1200 watt PS (only 3-6 pin and 3-8 pin connectors) You might need 2
$409 each for the 280's
~$340 each for the 4890's
$550 for the 940 Nehalem
~$600 for 12 Gig of DDR3 1600
~$4750 not including the H2O setup and case.... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Then you'd just need enough power supplies to light up a small town.

How many shrubberies do you think you could put in per day with that?
I am thinking around 60K to 75K a day maybe
edit: make that at least 110K just for the Gpu's over 40 Million a year _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......
