Wow - must have some GPUs, and has also managed to wrest some WUs out of that project.
Big accomplishment, to be sure! _________________

Woo hoo! How cool is that?
I noticed that Microcenter had some 4650s for less than $100. Some a LOT less than $100. I was sorely tempted, but no way, especially since I'm having to replace the HDD on my main shrubber - some number of years 24/7 WFO with BOINC (among other things) has finally taken its toll
I was even running elevated system temps for the better part of a year until I got that sorted out: A big cooler master case with front 120mm, two 120mm "blow hole" fans, a fan on the side, and the heat sink hooked up to another 120mm (via a duct) that pulls system air over the CPU Heat Sink, then sends it out of the case.
It's awfully hard on the fan on the end of the duct, which is immersed in 60-70+ C air all the time, and the mobo temp is always only about 8-9C over ambient. _________________

What is your main shrubber? I have a Pentium D 3.0 Ghz. Prescott I'll give away to someone whose motherboard will support it for shipping cost only. I started a thread a while back to try and help others upgrade even a little but it kind of died out. If it will help you then let me know. Like I said, shipping cost only. If you're not interested maybe "Sorry old mann "would like it. _________________

I would need an address so I can find out about the shipping costs. Regular mail should do fine I would think. If she wants it she can PM me the information. _________________

she is in Australia, on the north east coast. I was thinking of sending her a couple of old boards but the shipping from Michigan by FedEx was almost $200 Per board
It would have been cheaper to wire her the money to buy a new comp there. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

I'm using 6.5.0 as well. I've not had any problems with it.
All of my MW units on my quads are do by the GPU, All the docking is CPU. I just added my P4 to docking, it takes a long time to crunch the units but it gets them done. _________________
