4 older cards bring me over 800k a month....
a new one ~$250.00 will bring you ~11K a day |
Forget cuda. Get a HD4870 or better ATI card. If milkyway can keep it fed it should do 100K per day or so.
The ATI cards are less expensive than the NVIDIA cards and at least for the time being have a better ROI
For example : Sapphire HD4870 189.00 100K per day if properly fed.
See above quote. |
don't bother, I've got one and there's no way you can keep it fed all the time, I'm lucky if I get 10k a day out of my 4870! |
Are you running the update script? I'm doing much better on mine. With them idle most of the time i'm probably getting 30 to 40 K per day from each card. |
update script? what update script....... now where's the team spirit keeping things like that quiet.....
linky please!!!! _________________ Oh, it's blessed are the meek!, Well I'm glad they'll get something as they have a hell of a time!

It'll be interesting to see which GPU version of MW comes out first. Travis is working on a CUDA app and according to the last posts I saw on the MW forum had not provided the application to the person who is writing the ATI app so he could get started. It could turn out that CUDA comes first, which might give MW_GPU the chance to ease into things instead of facing a firestorm off the bat. _________________
