I believe we need to paste them on some other site and link THAT site, as it looks like our phpBB may not allow 'temporary' images (the"?" part)...

Hmmm... That might be closer to a database lookup that gives you an image (you are correct about the parameters after the "?").

Interestingly enough, it would probably work in someone's signature. Otherwise, I believe you are correct, the graphic would need to be run, then uploaded to photobucket or whatever, and then it could be linked from there.

I wonder if tinyurl would work?

Hmmm... guess not!

Say buh-bye to Predictor@Germany. KWSN is now in 28th place...

Our RAC is 48.5K. This is about the peak production we had on SHA-1. And we don't have the benefit of the good Dr. Vornoff on this project, which tells me more kanigits are crunching POEM/POTM !

That is because Poem 'pays' better than SHA-1...

According to the daily updates, we crunched 89K yesterday! If we can maintain this level of production (or even grow it), our prospects are much better than initial expectations. We doubted we could touch the Italians, but now they look like a mere stepping stone to further enSTOMPulations... Scroll down to the "Opportunities" and "Days To Overtake" section:

Project news:
Quote:
April 09 , 2009 - Happy Easter and Peptide Workunit Evaluation

The POEM@HOME team wishes everybody a few days of nice and calm Easter holidays.

On the crunching side of things everything is going fine. The Peptide workunit results are now preprocessing to be passed on to the group doing the data mining on the generated results. As the protocol worked flawless and we are very satisfied with the results, we started another Peptide project once the old one was finished, which even in this short time led to de-novo folding events of 1E0Q, 1J4M and 1LB0.

Thanks for crunching!

Poland is now in the rear view mirror - on to Italy! I passed a Lamborghini a few days ago (heh, it was going below the speed limit). It felt poetic and I took that to be a good sign...

Oh, I am - I am. Every darn box in my modest farm is WFO on Poem. This is flat murdering me in worldwide RAC standings (because Poem doesn't pay anything like Milkyway, which I was shrubbing when I could get shrubs), and I don't care. It is much, much better to join the charge with my fellow knights, modest though my contribution may be, compared to the heavy hitters.

Even at that, though I haven't checked BOINC Stats (or whatever) for a better estimate, it looks like should still hit my first million some time this month.

And you're right, I've never lacked shrubs from this project. One of my shrubbers got the weird idea that it takes literally about 50 times to complete a shrub as it really does, so it only gets one or two at a time. I had thought to run it out on NNT and try a project reset, and I don't think I'll take the time. Better to let it just keep working without much of a work queue, as it always seems to get a new shrub as soon as the old one is done.

I will probably never catch Sir Tux in the Poem KWSN team stats (he has about two full days more TC than me at the pace I'm going), and I'm right at his heels as we climb up a couple more places in the team standings.

I seemed to have slipped out of my #3 place on the team down past the # that does not exist to # 5. A well played double reverse pass!
