Okay, the world is ending as I know it.

My 12 year old son talked me into doing the Peachtree 10K Road Race on July 4th. I will be one of 55,000 people.

I normally work Cardiac Hill. (giving out water) Now I have to figure out how to get up Cadiac Hill. Shocked

Breaking news!

Over 10,000 people are reported to have died in the Peachtree 10K Road Race on July 4th. This is substantially more than the usual 5-6 thousand victims of cardiac arrest that the organizers were calculating with. A police investigation has been launched.

Breaking news!

The police investigation of the Peachtree 10K Road Race has found evidence that an unidentified individual, presumably a Taliban terrorist, placed what is believed to be a vanilla milkshake on the finish-line of the race.
Of course, this caused thousands of runners to be trampled to death.
What is puzzling though, is that so many of the victims seem to have died from gunshot wounds.

Breaking news!

The police investigation of the Peachtree 10K Road Race has now been concluded.
A 32 year old male of Afghan descent has been arrested and charged for terrorist actions.
The man defended his actions by stating "I only put down the bloody milkshake for two seconds to tie my shoe!".
The death scentence is sheduled for next saturday.

As for the large number of gunshot wounds, the police stated:
"Hey, it's July 4th in Atlanta. What did you expect?"
