|
|
The Clan of the Iron Helmets has spoken and it's official: we'll keep crunching on SHA-1 Collision Search!
We've made great strides during February even though we got a late start and it's a short month.
Stats when we began (late on 2/3) :
36th Place
1,036,520 Points
23,238. RAC
Current stats (Feb. ain't quite over) :
18th Place
2,153,500. Points
46,403. RAC
By the way, our RAC is a solid 2nd place on this project, way out in front of 3rd. So we should be able to roll over some teams, but not nearly as many as in February.
By another way, fans of the current project need to work it all out full bore during March 'cause we ain't doing this one 3 months in a row, that wouldn't be fair to all the other projects KWSN is involved in, AY? At least we'll put off all those pesky project changeover issues 'til next month...
By a final way, I hope everyone is enjoying POTM, the stats after the poll closed indicates this is so:
23 Votes
8 Projects received votes
9 Votes for SHA, a strong winner...

Let me be the first to congratulate SHA-1 as the winning project for POTM March 2009.
May you give us lots of respect and lots of vault points. _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Another reason to do all we can...
Without all the Shrubs the Doktor gave us, how are we doing vs how WERE we doing?
I talked my friend Jack to put SHA-1 on both his PCs.
(Wish I had BORGed them...)

OK that's done. Next is Boinc Synergy. Perhaps some taunting is in order?

I do not think they would take kindly to taunting, and also I believe they would just ignore us as well.
