Do they count as long as they're submitted even if they're pending? I've got more than 1400 pending credits. _________________

Now down to one Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 that's in a tiny case and overheats if I actually try to use all four cores at the same time. On the other hand, it makes for a very nice home theater PC

Challenge Credit is awarded immediately and doesn't have anything to do with the BOINC credit... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Notes from Prime Grid:
Quote: | Now's the time to start thinking about the finish. This is a friendly reminder to update your clients early, and update often. This prevents overloading the server in the last few seconds of the Challenge and ensures that all of your completed WU's get reported back.
Additionally, if you are "moving on" immediately after the conclusion, please consider lowering your cache or setting your clients to no new work if you already have enough to last to the finish. Afterwards, please consider COMPLETING your cache or ABORTING the WU's. See below for more details.
At the Conclusion of the Challenge
We kindly ask users "moving on" to ABORT their WU's instead of DETACHING, RESETTING, or PAUSING.
ABORTING WU's allows them to be recycled immediately; thus a much faster "clean up" to the end of an LLR Challenge. DETACHING, RESETTING, and PAUSING WU's causes them to remain in limbo until they EXPIRE. Therefore, we must wait until WU's expire to send them out to be completed.
Please consider either completing what's in the queue or ABORTING them. Thank you. |

I totally get you, one of my clients cached 450 WU... it wasn't so much fun aborting them, but since they asked so nicely... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

I feel your pain I even set my computing preferences to 0.001 day in the last couple of hours, but I still had a lot of WU's to abort. It seems only a couple of machines got the message, they each had 20 or so and I went ahead and let them run.
All-in-all, though; that challenge was fun _________________

Congrats to all the Knights who participated, and even some who found some Primes. The next one is at the end of April and is 48 hours, the last day of April into the first day of June. First time ever we have placed in the top 10, and it was a close finish with Team 2ch, what a weird name. We need to taunt them on their team name.

That is a weird name, but my favorite for weird goes to Angela's Cottage. I hope you mean 48 hours from the last day in April into the first day in May. _________________

20 each
You got nothin' to complain about. My main box had, I don't even know, well over 400. I am not kiddin' when I said I had 2 hours, It took me almost 3 hours to shut down, Restart the preferred type of work and Abort the units from 10 machines
It wouldn't surprise me if I find out next week that I screwed something up... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

well the house didn't burn down...
18th place overall's not too shabby....
I'll let the stockpile run out before reorganising the server room (spare bedroom) in time for April's POTM....

That was 20 on the two boxes I let run. The other three had a few hundred each. _________________
