We went down 12 points and up 2 spots at the same time?

The OGR project scores were greatly modified. They only take into account shubs completed this month. That really throws a lot of teams off to scores that aren't accurate. Expect another big jumble when they remove OGR-26 from the vault (it is completed) and add OGR-27 which almost no one has points in yet.
It might be easier to kick back and have a PGGB! _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

They finally replaced OGR-26 with OGR-27. We don't have many shrubs in OGR yet so our score is quite low. I have some crunching away on them now, but the quad won't finish the first batch for another 4 days or so and the PS3 I think downloaded enough for a couple of weeks. So I'll make an impact when they finally finish but we needs more peeps to compete!

Downloaded the client and installed it on Windows OS.
The configuration isn't so easy to understand or to configure, can I crunch only for OGR-27 without crunching for RC5-72 in the same client? _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Yes, but if you make sure the priority is for OGR-NG first, then it will only do RC5-72 if OGR-NG has no work. While 26 was active that, that only happened to me twice, so no big deal.

Okay, now that this problem solved, can I join KWSN only after I submit 1 WU and the system knows my ID and I'm able to get my password? Or am I missing something here about how to login to the project? _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

You got it right. After you submit at least one unit it will make an account for the email address you used. Then you can request a password for your account and then join the team. There's a thread in the help section that walks you through it.

If KWSN had a strategic planning capability, maybe we would have picked OGR-27 as POTM? Oh well, fat chance of that level of chess play with this lot of crunchers! Although I think Yankton may have warned us about this early on...

I was looking at it and gimps as potential PotMs, but it seems we are limiting that to BOINC projects, which is fine. But if anyone has a core or two that could be dedicated to either of these wonderful projects, we could certainly use the help!

Once all our LL WU will finish for GIMPS, we'll be flying sky high in the team stats! _________________ Anyone for Crunch?
