Hi, Just thought it's not nice towards superlink that we've turned the thread about it to GIMPS thread, so grunt on about GIMPS here #ni-1

I must add, that since GIMPS was added to the DC-Vault, about 5 more teams were created (for total teams of 131 now, that's alot)

We're currently #124 which need to give us (by my horrible calculation skills) about: 534 Vault points... hopefully... I think right now it's the project that will give us the most Vault points since... ehh... we never crunched it... Rolling Eyes

Each position we advance is about 76 Vault points, since we're only #119 we have a lot where to advance to, passing all the teams with lower stats that didn't crunch for years... I'm expecting big Vault scores soon and reclaiming our rightful place being the team in this unknown position between #3 and #5 Rolling Eyes

does anyone know how to submit work for GIMPS.... is it like muon where you have the option to manually submit work?

I've just stuck one core of a quad on it, will add another ½ dozen tomorrow morning if all is OK; if we need it, I can up them all to 4 cores at 5 mins notice.

I don't know how it reports; mine is showing 0.18% done after 1 hour, so that means (just a sec, I need to take my socks off) err, 23 days to completion (had to use my dangly bits as well!).

I hope it's not 3 weeks before I get any score Shocked
