Knights!
Superlink has been added to the vault. This screwed up our standings, we're down to 5th overall and 4th in bio/med.
We are 24th in the vault for superlink, but we could rise past most with a concentrated push. Not a lot of teams have really high scores here yet, we need to kick it up a notch. _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

I didn't even see that as it had no impact on our total.
NI!
There was NO KWSN team in there, maybe there was under the legacy version 4 they mention. In any event, I made us a team for gimps. I guess I'll have to start throwing some cores at it as they become available. 0 makes it our worst score.

I threw a couple of 4200X2 cores at the GIMPS.
What a pain- their download link is dead (took forever to download a bad file), finally found it on a mirror.
* With an expected finish on March 2nd, I don't know if I am going anywhere fast on this project.
* Not to mention messing with the stats program. Another Non-Boinc Project, just what I need! _________________

The mprime download link for 64-bit linux worked, but the help files were for prime95. There's a text file you need to edit to place your username, and you need to make an account on the site and attach yourself to our team.
One warning, for the 64-bit linux, I couldn't get it to shut down or halt. Couldn't even kill it. Finally gave up and rebooted. I'll stick the P4 on it when it's done with the climate WUs. probably the thunderbird too and see how it works out.
There was some setup also, using a switch after mprime in a terminal. _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

I got lazy, I put the Windoze version on a machine I had dual-booted in to BG's world for SHA-1.
If it looks like it is worth it, I'll switch to the Linux version.
(I want to see where we are going in the Vault before I commit to a bunch of screwing around)
The Team (such as it is):

I think I'll switch some sr2sieving cores towards GIMPS, 0 score for GIMPS is much worse than 6,666 points...
***Edit: Is it me, or those GIMPS (Prime95) WU are super long?
***Edit2: Well, looks like SOME WU are huge and some are tiny... every bit counts, especially when we have 0 points... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Woot!
I'm the first loonie to submit a result!
The Knights Who Say NI! has 1 result* in the last 365 days
User Name CPU Name Exponent Result Type Received age days Result GHz-Days
Idan_Shifres 57915647 NF 2009-02-15 12:11 0.0 no factor from 2^64 to 2^65 0.0645
Now our team has a whoopin' score of 0.0645! Can't wait to see our DC-Vault score rising now... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

It's on the gimps page, we are now last (instead of non-existent) at rank 129!

Someone needs to do it manually, but mke sure you get the team name exactly right - the admins will then add us into the stats. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

I made our gimps name match our vault name so you shouldn't have an issue getting them to add it. Or you can bribe them with spam! _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

I've submitted the name, and since they didn't update it within 2 mins, I submitted it for 30 more times... that will buy them 30 more mins... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Remember that the team is added to the Vault manually, so it'll take until someone notices it - I got a confirmation e-mail last time I added us to a project, so you'll need to wait for that. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

Wait? I don't know what's waiting...
Just sent them 10 more times, to be sure they got it... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?
