I'm having a bit of trouble getting it to start over cmd line, I did get it going with the GUI though. Any suggestions? _________________ Not quite dead. |

If you click on http://ces-eng.net/Boinc/Boinc.html
I have a script that I use to start boinc as a service.
Problems starting from command line are "usually" because of where you are (ie- not in the right dir)- I suggest:
$ cd /<where ever you installed boinc>
$ ./boinc
Don't forget the "./" in front of the boinc command.
Good Luck. If you want to have fun-- I just spent the evening putting a couple of Distributed Computing (ie- Non-Boinc)
projects on my Linux boxes.
(Well on 6 of them anyway, I am now fighting with the install on Mac OSX, which is more of a pain than Linux).
