Hi,
Did anyone try using or IS using Milkyway@Home optimized application? I've read about it in for a while and it looks very impressive using SSE/SSE2/SSE3...
I'm not quite sure the project accept the results of them now (There was an issue about incorrect results received from this optimized applications) but I would like to know anyway if anyone has any experience with them...
Thanks! _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Milkyway also reduced granted credits by 50%.
Then after much outrage gave 20% back.
At the moment there are no optimized versions for windows users. Only Mac and Linux. Travis has a very funny way of thanking all the people for optimizing his client so that he can get more work done faster. Cut their credit in half. For the time being I've set my computers to no new work for MW. At least until there is an optimized version for windows so the playing field will at least be level. _________________

I think that even with 70% credit pay, it will be worthy to crunch for this project, I'll be checking it though...
If you don't care not restarting your computer during crunching, AQUA@Home gives a very good credit for the work... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

I've got some Aqua units running on my quad. My other two machines would be way too slow. _________________

If MW really cut the credit that much, my #'s are going to take a serious dive.
I'll have to move on to another credit whore project... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!
