I really must try to get another couple of Phenoms on it - they seem to be worth 5-6k/day each.
But then, Aqua is calling...
... and I've just re-started Einstein to get up to ¼ million...
... and Poem needs some effort...
.. and so does Docking...
... and...
...and...
Maybe I'll just let you pass me....
... or maybe not...

I wish my Phenoms were worth that much.....More like 3500 each with Windoze. The new Q6600 is about the same. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Have you tried an i7 yet? I just got a 920 because it was a good deal, but haven't decided what to build around it yet. _________________

No I haven't got one yet, I have heard that from a Q66 it is not that much of a step up
I would love to hear your appraisal when you do run it. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

I hope to have something built in the next couple of weeks. Right now I'm headed out of town to escape the inauguration crowds , so the build will have to wait. _________________

That's impressive. Are they OC'ed? _________________

Goodday my brave knights, maybe a Core 2 Quad 9650, a year ago I have build a Q6600 running @ 3GHz. and a Core 2 Extreme 9650 running @ 3,7GHz ;FSB 1650MHz. Was expensive a year ago.
€900,00 but I bought a testing model for €250,00
Now there's also a QUAD 9650 3GHz ;1333FSB . Much cheaper
But a must be on my way to the dark side of the moon , must not forget a torch _________________ Fired, Wandering, Silicon Knight , STOP war & greed, N! Ni .

My 6600 is getting @5500 RAC and not running 100% on MW. At the moment it's sharing time with AQUA. Of course it is OC'd to 3.1 Ghz. and runs about 56-58 C. per core with air running MW. Windows XP Pro x64 _________________

I am just running windoze 32 bit.
Is there that much of a difference? Have they fixed the driver issues?
I just may have to get me a copy of 64 bit, Matey.....Arg... _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

The 64 bit version of Windoze really doesn't buy you anything for Boinc (actually slows down some projects slightly). The major plus is the ability to address over 4 GB of ram (my CAD/Photo editing machine uses it), the minus is the drivers (throw out any peripherals over a year or so old {scanner and printer drivers are hard to come by}). _________________

Well, there's the "Proof of Concept" - I stuck just enough on MW to ramp up to your level; in fact I pipped you yesterday. The main problem was leaving enough on Aqua to continue our charge there; now 7th and should be up to 5th in 5 days.
The combination of those two gave me my best-ever "real" day of 52,675 shrubs testerday.
But back to the real world. I've now knocked all my MW off and transferred some to SHA-1. We can do some real damage for some decent DC-Vault gains (currently 49th, no, 48th and should be able to get into the low 30's fairly quickly). At 14¼ Vault points/place, that's 2-300 points going begging.
So why not join me there and see if you can knock me off my perch - I've only got a 40K head-start on you.
Al
Oops, I've just had a fresh look at the stats and I see that the infamous Dr Vornoff has cranked up suddenly - he's up to 6th in just one day and #2 shubber in the world.
Looks like an even better project to attack now.
