KWSN Project Statistics for Tuesday, January 13, 2009 @ 01:57 EST

Notes:
1) For some reason, the user stats for SETI did not update yesterday, sorry.
2) Made the first pass at over-riding the active/inactive status. Marked the following as inactive:
3x+1@home
BBC Climate Change
HashClash
Nano-Hive@Home
RieselSieve
TMRL DRTG

Are there any more that should be moved to "inactive"?

I see that http://allprojectstats.com/collatz/show_host_detail.php?hostid=6093 still has work units (due by Feb 12), but I don't see any results returned from that computer since Dec 29. Is it really running? The credit will show up even if the project is flagged as inactive, but I question showing it as active if no one can get WU's and no one is returning any work (credits today has been 0 for a long as I have been doing this).

APS, Proteins, RND, SciLinc & TSP are all definitely dead.

ABCbeta was dead, but I think they'll be resurrecting it next month.

Chess, Hydrogen, Second Computing & Virtual Prairie have all been sleeping for at least a couple of months, with no indication of if and when they'll return. (Reversi was in that state, but started up again a couple of days ago). Cels is also going through a non-work period, but should be up again R.S.N.

As there are still scores going through 3x+1 it's probably worth leaving it till next month.

Ramsey is due back next month.

#ni-1

Al

One minor comment - the "active members" numbers are a bit suspect; any chance that could be cut-off at, say, an RAC of 1.0 (or cruched in the last month), or is it a figure supplied by Neil?

Why didn't I do something like that a year ago?, I ask myself. But, like Topsy, it just grew from the original Cohiba script, with more bits being added.

Great job.

Updated "overrides" according to Al's list. Ramsey is flagged as inactive by Neil (last xml run was Dec). My code just over-rides Neil's flags (lazy- If I put a # in front of the project name in the control file, it will flag the project as inactive in spite of Neil's flags).
Note: Active is the # supplied by Neil's xml dumps, I'm not sure how he comes up with it.
Now all I have to do is get up at 2:00 AM (or not) to see if it works.
PS- Al, How did you get the data for Eon????

I just stopped network communication to run them. they will all be in in about 1 1/2 days. I have 25 units and each runs in about 3.5 hours so ~ 3.5 days.

Otherwise Milky takes over the machine and they will not run until 2/9.

Edit: as of right now I have 13.5 done

I've noticed that Milky does not play nice with others, I've had a couple of projects run up crazy (and uncalled for) long term debts, forcing me to shut down Boinc, reset the debt and re-start. I set 3x+1 back to active for the time being. #Sniper

Picky, picky. Fixed. Good catch I got a little "cut & paste" happy there.
