The BOINC Admin over at the AQUA@Home Message Board said:
"The maximum delay for completing the work units has also been increased from 3 days to 20 days, so the BOINC client has more latitude as to when to run a downloaded work unit.
We are doing everything we can to keep the work units reasonably short. However, we are solving very complex and time consuming problems and they inherently require a lot of CPU power as the problem size increases.
I understand your concerns about the lack of check pointing and hope to have it in place ASAP."

Thanks for the update...
Just notice your siggy:
Quote: | chown -R us ./base |
I think it should be: "chown -R us ~base" though... _________________ Anyone for Crunch?

Maybe I should pay more attention when I attend Defcon! LOL!
Edit:
How about ALL your Base, not just the current Base? Like...
find / -name base -exec chown -R us \{\} \; _________________
