Happy New Year!
No drinking, just stayed home with the Mrs. Too damn cold to go out any where.
The neighbor has a party going on with his family. It's 7:15 AM and I can still hear the music. So tempted to start some loud music of my own a bit later.... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Happy New Year!
We had a pretty quiet one at home, as we always do. My daughter sat at her computer, and my mother, my son and I watched one of the worst movies ever made. Battlefield Earth with John Travolta. It might have been good, it could have been good, if it had been handled properly but...
Holy crap! It was good for a laugh anyway. Then we watched a movie called The Faculty, and that one turned out to be surprisingly good.
The kids were supposed to go to their father's on the 31st because they didn't go for Christmas, but my big 17 year old decided he was sick that day. My daughter can't handle being there without her brother so neither of them went. I think they've all decided that they're going tomorrow now (Saturday).
Over 3 hour round trip to meet their father halfway. All that time lost when I'm way behind on the psych reading (assignment due 12th), and trying to understand bloody spreadsheets for computing (assignment due online 5th). I hate spreadsheets!

Apparently Michelle has been missing for so long that she has forgotten that there are a bunch of computer nerds around this fortress that could help her understand those evil spreadsheets easier and quicker..... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Spreadsheets are not sensible and easy to understand. They are looney. Open Office or MS Word ...no problem, fiddling around with Front Page or Access...piece of cake, setting up the home network...a breeze, doing silly things with pictures etc, etc. Most of which I've taught myself, but I just cannot get my head around Excel.
At least I sat down and found all the info to put into the spreadsheet.
Had to find prices for all the bits - motherboard, cpu, ram, monitor etc. - to build a computer. Can't afford another computer, but I wouldn't mind having a go at putting one together like that in the future. Found a really cool looking case for $99.
Now lets look at the three comments quoted above. It has become apparent that I have not yet reached the level of looney that is required to enable spreadsheet comprehension. _________________ My brain hurts.
