Also the biggest Vault scores come from non-BOINC projects it seems.

Yes indeed. I'm running the beta client for the PS3 on OGR, it's sweet. I put one of my quads on OGR this morning also. And shortly I'll have two old computers doing seventeen or bust. I'll likely bounce the one quad between the two, and some of the primes projects and leave the other two crunching for boinc. At some point next year, I'll replace a couple of my older comps with newer quads or better.
Until then,

We can't totally lose all your production in BOINC, you produce so many shrubberies for us.
Are you that new person in the RC5 stats that has like 6K keys so far?

I haven't touched RC5 yet so I don't know. Who and where are you looking at? _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

I won't be planting too many shrubs this week. I've been rotating my focus every week for a bit now and SHA is this week, it doesn't give much credit in comparison so my stats would be low even if I didn't move that one quad over to OGR. NQueens is next week, I'll bump it back to boinc when I start that.
Here's an odd question, can a boinc directory with work in progress be backed up and moved to another computer in it's entirety? I ahve two cpdn shrubs going on an old P4, I'd like to move them to one of the fast machines and then sell the P4 and replace it with a new multi-core shrub planter. _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

If you run the OGR client from distributed.net they run two projects. The RC5 key thingy and the other thingy called OGR-26. A new person showed up on the RC5 stats and is shrubbing quite a bit. I do not know if any Knights have gotten any OGR26 work, they seem they will finish 26 a lot quicker than 25 was finished.

If it's doing them both, I'll go make sure I have an account set up for RC-5 and see if that's me. I thought it was doing all OGR-26 but I'm still new on it. OGR-36 does look like it won't take long to complete. _________________ Some days are worse than others. |

It is not me, I have nothing submitted for RC5-72. that participant has been submitting work since February, long before I even knew of it's existence. Unless they come forward there is no way to know who it is.
