At the risk of sounding like the credit whore right now. Where is the biggest bang for the buck besides SETI? I'm now running 3 machines and want to up the RAC a bit. Cosmology? _________________

Cosmology is good, but they have just changed the WUs a bit and I am getting some BIG ones. They are only giving 70 credits per WU (for now). So long ones may not be worth it, short ones would be worth it. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

How long are they running for 70 credits? Long ones and short ones. _________________

If you attach now, SIMAP is excellent for Credit Whores, but the work appears on the 1st of each month and generally only lasts a few days.
Einstein is also pretty good, and it's got the big advantage of being a fairly stable project.
But by far and away the best is Docking. Unfortunately for you, they're not accepting new members at the mo, so to all you who didn't get in first time round.

On docking site it says invitation required. What are the chances for an invite Sit Al? _________________

I've never tried to get one, so I'll e-mail the admin now.
They're having a bit of server trouble at the mo (no work for the last 3-4 weeks, and just a trickle in the last few days, after a quick burst when they first re-appeared), but it looks as if they're just about ready to 5-4-3-2-1-Thunderbirds are Go.

My personal favorites are...
1) Cosmo......my 9850 running at 2.7 Ghz runs a unit per core at about 4 hours
2) Milkyway.... same box ran the old units in less than 5 min & the new ones in about 3.5 hours.
3) Einstein...... Old Faithful, nuff said

Ni and Hi Sir Im'a'Crazy !
If you do not mind contributing to a NON Boinc project (ie will not raise your RAC) , then "Wieferich@Hone" http://www.elmath.org/ might be of interest .
KWSN is doing well here , but as allways , needs help . Each position in the Wieferich DC Vault stats is worth ~250 points to KWSN . We are less than 400 points below Xtreame at the moment for position 5 (Overall) , but they are slowly pulling away from us . So even a few cores here will help a lot .
Boinc projects that are worth a lot (~25 DC Vault points) is YoYo@Home if you agree with the project . Again KWSN needs the help here .
I know I have only commented on KWSN point gain , not individual RAC , but we are a team afterall
