Dr Dr DR !! we need your help in Muon !!
Please
Regds Grizz |
My Master, the Good and Righteous Doctor Vornoff, regrets that his research has reached a rather delicate and complicated stage that cannot at present be interrupted.
However, as he is not currently using a great deal of his vast computing resources (his own brain being much superior at this point in his investigations), he has tasked me, the valiant Ni!rro, to lend such assistance as I can.
Having investigated this Muon !! to which you refer, I have attempted to direct a little "shrubbing" (strange term) in the direction of the Good Knights, but I am afraid that little assistance will be forthcoming until next weekend.
I hope that the small amount of succour that I, only a humble servant, can provide will prove to be of some use. _________________

Our hopes are practically realized right NOW! THANK YOU, kind Sir!
We await with faded breath (er, 'baited'?) your most valiant efforts on behalf of all our realm of NI-dom and we encourage you to seek out the PGGBrewery and enjoy some refreshment!
(Just watch out for the kNIghtesses with whips and spankings and stuff, but then again, you may be INTO that sorta stuff...)

Great you returned. I thought you left after the Exxon Valdez incident and when we got drunk in Berlin.

FWIW...
The muon (from the letter mu (μ)--used to represent it) is an elementary particle with negative electric charge and a spin of 1/2. It has a mean lifetime of 2.2μs, longer than any other unstable lepton, meson, or baryon except for the neutron. Together with the electron, the tau, and the neutrinos, it is classified as a lepton. Like all fundamental particles, the muon has an antimatter partner of opposite charge but equal mass and spin: the antimuon, also called a positive muon. Muons are denoted by μ− and antimuons by μ+.

Well, I chose to start up this also, but I don't really have a clue as to if I'm helping Team KWSN or not... I added "[KWSN]" to my Nick, but don't see that I was added to the list. I'm trying though...
Seems like I have a DOS-based program running TWO occurences (one in DOS box, one in a Window, but still DOS-based)
FWIW, folks, I'm sharing ONE PC anyways...
If I'm helping at ALL, please let me know... (You lis'nin, Sir Grizz?)

PastPhred, have you created a user.txt file with [KWSN] nickname inside it.... you can use muon_background.exe to run muon without any dos boxes....
Blimey, The Dr has added over 3.5 million mpts, putting him in second place overall for todays production.........
to put that into persepctive I only managed 100k after two days production running 100% on my quad core
we need more like him...... _________________ Oh, it's blessed are the meek!, Well I'm glad they'll get something as they have a hell of a time!

Yep Im'a listenimg , but your above formulae includes a value of π (Pi) , which has yet to be confirmed (July 2008) , and no cancellation in the offing (Mathematically) . Hence my involememt(*) in the PiSegment search in the recent year (or 2).
