Got pulled over by the police!

For driving too slow!

Had to drive the kiddiwinks in to Maryborough train station Saturday and noticed all the roadworks signs and reduce speed signs through one stretch of road that had been damaged from all the rain we had. Took notice of the signs and annoyed a few people I guess.

Had to go back to pick them up Sunday night. Got to the stretch of road where the signs were and slowed down again. It wasn't too long before I noticed a car that was sitting right behind me. I thought 'Hey, I'm not the only one taking notice of the signs.'
Just got into Hervey Bay and the car flashed its lights, and a blue light suddenly appeared.
It was the bloody coppers that had been sitting behind me.
They wanted to know why I'd been driving so slow through there and had I been drinking.
'It was the signs', I said. 'All the reduce speed signs through there. I thought there might have been potholes in the road.' I didn't tell him I'd been through there the day before and knew the potholes had been fixed.
He was fine...kinda cute too.
Plus I don't think we looked like a particularly disreputable bunch.
