The weather is starting to heat up in Ohio, so most of my machines will be going down for the summer. (The way business is, I can afford to run the machines OR the AC needed to cool them, but not both). I will bring machines back on-line as the temp allows.

I'm leaving 2 computers on line (my email machine {Q6600} and my Mac Pro), they should do about 8000 RAC.
Shutdown 1 Intel Pentium D, 2 Intel P4's, 2 AMD Phenom's, 3 AMD Athlon X2's, and my laptop.
I will re-start some if the daytime temps stay below 75 deg F (its 86 right now). _________________

I know how you feel, it's 89 here but in the room with all the computers it's got to be 95.
On this box ( 9850 Black OCed ) Cpu is 132 f, Pwmic and Chipset are 130 f. Hard drive is only 99 f though . _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

Got my lone shrubber sitting on the cement basement floor right now.. the floor is always ice cold. Even if it's 80F+ outside. _________________ When in doubt, kick it until it works. |

I know what you mean. Since the temps in Las Vegas hit the upper 90's, I quit running 2 shrubbers 24x7 to running BOINC when I'm otherwise on line. I'll be back around September too, hopefully with a third shrubber. |

I think summer has decided to give Oregon a pass this year. Less than a week out from summer solstice and were barely seeing low seventies at the moment. _________________

NYC has gotten smacked with high heat AND humidity in the last week. So I have to run the ACs. Couple that with the continued robbery by the electric suppliers and I may not be able to run my mini farm at home for much longer. At least until the heat breaks. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!
