This is warning shot across the great bow of the SETI.WhateveryouhappentocallyourselvesUSA team. I am a member of the Knights Who Say Ni! (KWSN), we are going to pass you in the TSP project. Because we actually want to be in the #1 spot in the world for any project by Christmas, it is no longer good enough to be in the top 5 (10, 15, or 20) depending on project, etc. So good luck, you might get trampled by Kows, sheeps, llamas, drunk Germans, get bitten by me (don't worry I have had some shots that I can not remember which).

If you feel you are to a taunting challengene remember this, we have been banned by the Singapore team in Genome@Home (that brings back memories), and it seems only those that like migratiing coocnuts and trains that go backwards like us.

Please visit our forums at http://www.kwsnforum.com/ and taunt us at our home. I do not know how many other Knights will be able to make it over here, we tend to get lost and sidetracked easily; I mean we have a back-up forum for the main forum (and a back-up for the back-up forum just in case the back-up forum goes down as well).

So bring it you looking for aliens, maybe with big boobs or not, we will get the traveling salesman first, or maybe just give him a PGGB.

When will this start? If we can wate untill the new year, that would be great. Some of us are in the WCG races, others in QMC, RS or RCN races.

hehehehehehe taunting is our specialty---but, as mentioned, a lot of us are occupied in other races in the same time frame & also as mentioned you just never know...............

Anyway--wishing you luck--if you're sidetracked easily, you might just want to settle for that smoke and a pancake & call it a day.

lol we upgrade our forums to stay with the times and we are being POOR SPORTS...

ah well,,,, Killerrabbit please let your team know this is not the case,,, a simple forums upgrade is all...... like Kev said,,, BJ will check into it, maybe their just using the old forum link, if thats the case they will get the bad username error.

if you could give them the new link and tell them to login as always,, it should work

no problems at all

The total # of registered members was the same as it was before I transferred everything over...

It could be that they registered on the HP...and think that it works here....separate registrations.

But....that will be changing as well. The hp can be integrated with phpBB ver 3.

Al Dente registered on our forums on 12/15 and the DB shows his last visit date as 12/17.
He shouldn't be getting an "illegal username" message.

So you are the mysterious Dan T. Morris, our team knows of you, soon you will be visited by one of the fie families and be made an offer you can not refuse.

You're right, I must have been using your old address. I had no problems getting in this time on my original registration, so apologies for any consternation caused by my seeming inability to breach your rather effective defences.

Well. I'm here now, so on with the motley:

You seem to be under the misapprehension that you can take on the challenge of The Knights Who Say Ni! and emerge unscathed. Poor, deluded fools. <shakes head in disbelief>

Haven't you realised yet that doing battle with the Knights can have an extremely deliterious effect on your sanity; after all, mixing it with a bunch of certified loonies like us has got to rub off on your good selves. So be warned - if you persist in attempting to resist the combined might of our shrubbers, you will all become raving loonies and join The Knights Who Say Ni!

Puff, pant... Greetings, fair citizens of SetiLand. Allow me to introduce myself:

<Sir Cod pic>

(Handsome devil, isn't he)

I am the famed Sir Cod of the Loin and my Piece of Cod normally leads the good kNi!ghts into battle; unfortunately I was asleep at the clarion-call this time, so I see a couple of other kNi!ghts seem to have beaten me to it.

The item you are standing in awe of is the "Holey Codd-Piece of Antioch", discovered many long years ago during the Crusades. It has been revered, worshipped and fought over for it's seeming infallibility in leading it's scions to victory over their opponents, regardless of the odds stacked against them. It came into my possession a few years ago when I.......

Ooh, sorry about that, I must have dozed off. Now, where was I. Ah, yes, kNi!ghts, scent of battle, ovewhelming odds, blood, gore, flying limbs, dead parrots everywhere. Suffice it to say that the Holey Codd-Piece has never yet failed in it's purpose of leading the kNi!ghts Who Say Ni! to victory, so you may as well just give up now.

You're all doomed, I tell you. DOOMED

Greetings Good SETI People!

I am Sir Mohrorless of the KWSN. I have found my way to your forum to assist in the Taunting over TSP. Beware I have just started shrubbing TSP and anyone that gets in my way will get poked with this sharp pointy stick, ok, it isn't really not that pointy and not too sharp either - I mean really how can a stick be sharp. Come to think of it, I am not sure it is a stick and not a nice piece of yarn.......(focus)...anyway we will be the best in TSP.

You have been warned!

My good (but rather silly) knights of the forest welcome to our kingdom.

Your morning taunts are of a strange and silly nature but have prompted me to create an account on the TSP project. I am not sure if I will bring any shrubs to the project as I find it to be, well…

…rather silly.

Perhaps I should start shrubbing with 2 of my Intel 286DXs this morning and put an end to all this silly talk?

Al Dente wrote: ...So be warned - if you persist in attempting to resist the combined might of our shrubbers, you will all become raving loonies and join The Knights Who Say Ni!...
Too late! Many here are already "raving loonies" and have yet to join The Knights Who Say Ni!
Perhaps it is you that will end up joining our alliance. The frendship & hospitality in the kingdom of SETI.USA is hard to resist so beware, many come here for a short visit and never leave!

If we are in this for laughs (which we are)- I've been looking for an excuse to see of I could make Linux run on the old S100 system that's boxed up in the basement. That would put the fear of dog into everyone!

Alas, I can not bring forth a shrubbery since they are burried deep beneath the snow. So instead of appeasing the bold knights I must consider vanquishing them with the point of my sword. It will be a black day in the forest if this were to happen.

Well it seems, your somewhat witty replies have been made. But alas you seem not to be outproducing the Knights. We might lack many things (sanity, girlfriends, and sheep), but we make up for that with complete and utter devotion to one goal until we reach it and then go on to the next goal forgetting about the old one.

The KWSN automated computer thingy with shiny pretty lights refurbished from the computer number thingy with shiny lights should be up and running Boinc thingys and thereby have more pretty shinly lights and make more Boinc numbers and points and things.

Behold the KWSN LLamanumerator with shiny lights comes!!!!

If anything goes wrong, blame Michelle, she works at TorchWood and experiments on time travel thingys and letters and numbers and things.

I've got my taunting head on, "to arms the British are coming"?
They'll need a site more than that!
I say Carruthers, did I hear a pun there.
Where are these jumped-up scrubbers to be found?

but with feeling, ( and style, humour, wit and, um... "what's that Patsy?"
