I don't know what's happening with MW. I've got it set to give me an RAC of ~250 to 300, but I only seem to get a small proportion of the work I want, hence the current RAC in the mid-50's and falling. Confused

But we've gone back past the Czechs in Leiden to regain 19th, and are past SaR Hessen for 29th in RCN.

With both Milkyway and poem only giving out 4 or 5 units per time it's a bummer but liveable for me.
Dimes just wont work it seems blocked although I have granted it permissions in the firewall. Can't work out why?

25th Anniversary Update

KWSN have actually done rather well on this little jaunt through the "easy" teams above us.

This is what we've achieved since I started this thread 25 days ago:
Code:
Started the Crusade 26 Oct 07, Progress at 20 Nov 07 (25 days)
             -- @ 26 Oct 07 --   -- @ 20 Nov 07 --   ----- over 25 days -----
Project         Points     Pos      Points     Pos    Points    Gain  Pts/day
APS             10,686      37      11,331      37       645       0       26  No real work, just a few re-issued Wus.
Leiden         260,963      19     307,351      18    46,388       1    1,856
RCN            185,547      35     228,761      28    43,214       7    1,729
Lattice         71,393      18     118,092      12    46,699       6    1,868
SIMAP        1,342,048      20   1,703,851      20   361,803       0   14,472  Abandoned, no realistic chance to progress.
Tanpaku        599,927      25     684,926      23    84,999       2    3,400
uFluids        296,379      21   2,108,625      21 1,812,246       0   72,490  Abandoned, failing WUs.
WCG          1,773,498     105   1,963,311     106   189,813      -1    7,593  Abandoned, then Wize arrived on the scene.
Yoyo            33,097      22     170,690      12   137,593      10    5,504
Dimes                                    Stats broken
Majestic         4,734       4       5,154       4       420       0     15.0  (millions, over 28 days)
Riesel LLR  13,827,258      10  15,876,914      10 2,049,656       0   73,202  (over 28 days)
                                           (added)
Poem                 0      86      69,217       7    69,217      79    2,884  started 28/10
Sudoku          48,803       8      83,187       8    34,384       0    1,375  lost, then regained 8th
TSP                  0      27        1618       8     1,618      19      202  started 13/11, now 7th

and this is what's still realistically possible. As we've had a recent increase in shrubbing in many of these projects, I've calculated the overtake estimates by using

(RAC + Last Week/7 + Yesterday)/3

in an attempt to more nearly reflect our current crunching rate.
Code:
KWSN will overtake      days    KWSN will be overtaken by     Position

Majestic   Xtreme Systems         months
Riesel LLR Xtreme Systems        11 days (Xtreme have just woken up, so probably longer)

* These are BOINCstats overtake figures.

So there's still plenty of scope to further improve KWSN's standing in those projects.

Note that I've only done the calculations for the projects I suggested at the beginning. Don't forget that other projects are also progressing nicely - see OhioMike & chums in Cosmology for instance.

Well done, KWSN and a very hearty #ni-1 to all who've helped out.

Yet More Progress, Again:

Leiden - up 2 to 16th. Free-DC 25 days, BOINC Stats 30 days; just in time for Xmas?

RCN - Past OcUK to 27th. Free-DC in ~2 weeks.

Lattice - Now #10. USA in 3 days.

WCG - 105th, the top 100 is plainly in sight now.

Riesel LLR - Finally past Xtreme Systems for 9th, the Lemurs of Cheddar will fall next weekend.

and, saving the best for last, KWSN ARE #4 IN THE WORLD in traveling salesman problem. The no capitals and misspelling are the project's, not mine! Laughing

Nice shubbing #ni-1 #ni-1 #ni-1

Current status (overtake numbers from BOINC Stats):

Leiden 16th. Overtaking Free-DC 11 days, BOINC Stats 17 days, Picard 19 days.

MilkyWay 15th. Overtaking SETI.USA 11 days. Final Front Ear will zap us in 7 days.

Poem 4th. Overtaking Rechenkraft 3 days.

RCN 26th. Overtaking Rechenkraft 4 days, boinc.cz 9 days, AMD Users 10 days.

Riesel LLR 7th. Overtaking Finland 3 days.

SHA-1 45th. 3 gains in 1, 8 & 15 days.

Sztaki 16th. BOINC.BE will stomp us in 12 days.

Tanpaku 23rd. Overtaking AnandTech 3 days.

Lattice 8th. (No more gains this year.)

TSP 4th. Overtaking MacNN 9 days.

WCG 101st. Overtaking UK & Vulture Central 1 day, SETI.Germany 16 days.

Not a bad end to the year (and that's just the projects I'm monitoring).

I've got a bit of a problem with the salesman at the moment - they're limiting me to 10 shrubs/day/machine (@ 20 points each), which is a bit of a bummer. Crying or Very sad

But I've retaliated by sticking it on all 17 boxes. Laughing
