We admins have been getting reports from Comcast.net users that they're not getting activation emails. I'm guessing that it's a result of spam filtering on Comcast's part, but as I'm not on Comcast, it's just a guess. Could those of you on Comcast help me test this out? I assume Comcast has some sort of webmail system setup, and that in this webmail system there is a spam/junk folder. Is that correct? If so, and if you have a comcast.net email address that's not already associated with an account on the forum, could you use that address to create an account and then monitor the spam folder for the activation email?
OR, if you're a Comcast user and have experienced and solved this problem, could you post your solution? _________________ KWSN Forum Admin

Information on whether topic and PM notifications are getting through would be useful as well. _________________ KWSN Forum Admin

Ok, well as you know Mine is not getting to me. As far as I know nothing at comcast is blocking it, but if they are doing it without my knowledge then I guess that would be different. I don't use any thing voluntarily with them I use Mail Washer and I am sure you are not on the blacklist as I just reinstalled it with a new os.
I will call them when I get the chance and see if it is at their end. _________________ a.k.a. Licentious of Borg.........Resistance Really is Futile.......

I think I've found at least part of the problem. We don't have reverse dns setup on our IP, so Comcast is blocking the email. I've been meaning to convert to Google Apps for our email needs. I guess I'll have to do that sooner rather than later. _________________ KWSN Forum Admin
