Right, then. I've now spent a good few hours with my nose held firmly against a razor-sharp grindstone (fortunately not rotating at the time) and added every project with a KWSN team that I could find in Free-DC & BOINCSynergy stats and this is what emerges. (There are 2 projects, PS3Grid & SciLink with only one kNi!ght involved, but unfortunately the program doesn't seem to work with these, so their bravery in the face of overwhelming odds can't, at the moment, be enshrined for posterity.)

That looks to me like a hell of a lot of projects (and quite a daunting task for the updaters), so I'll give it a week or so for you to post arguments for leaving in/deleting any project(s), then I'll make any final updates to the project list based on your comments.

Of course, if you think I've missed anything you can add that to the list and I'll see if it can be incorporated.

I say the ones that are decaesed or considered deceased should be taken off the list. if they become active again then they can be added back to the list.

Yes please, this was just a test run, not intended as a "real" update.

I take it that you'd prefer to see Boitho, Docking, HashClash, NanoHive, Proteins, RenderFarm, TMRL DRTG & Zivis removed.

DepSpid went down about 3-4 weeks ago for a nominal 4 weeks, so should be back very soon. Superlink hasn't produced any work for a few weeks and the site is down, so I don't know what's happening there.

I don't know if any other projects are dead or dying - can anyone shed any light in this direction?

Well if those projects started back up again with work and such I would have no problem adding them back in.

I use the front page of BOINC Synergy and look at the projects their.

Maybe make the "sleeping" projects just show that, rather than outdated information about the users involved (which cuts 1-2 lines for each of those projects). And maybe add in a font call to drop it slightly below standard font size too.

I'd say to make it 1 line per project, but some of our users have really extremely long names that'd definitely break formatting.

At the moment, we're using a fixed program (from Coh1ba) and just updating a .ini file, so no changes to the format are possible.

It is, however, possible to add the top users manually and not do an update, so I could quite easily arrange that for RIPs.
