Soon it will be gone and we will have to wait another month.

Um, yes. I've just checked and found I've crunched nearly 1000 WUs (~50k points) this week, and was rather amazed to find over 1000 downloaded and ready to go.
Trouble is, it's having rather a severe effect on all my other projects, so I may be forced to reduce SIMAP's share and return a few. But then the prospect of manually aborting a few hundred shrubs means I'll probably just leave it to sort itself out.
Decisions, decisions.

I did notice that bit of underhanded subterfuge; I'm just hoping that the current rather oversized forest of SIMAP shrubs runs out before it's too late to stop your headlong dash to fame and glory. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

Other than the fact that Al Dente is doing as much work in a day as I am in a week, I feel pretty good about my SIMAP progress.
5th place in the team (will eventually take 4th, but not until >100k credits), top 400 world wide, top 100 USA. Only started in February of this year...
This latest batch I didn't even shut down the other projects. The new quad, though part time, is letting me keep almost the exact same daily score (~1,400) even though I've got all my other projects running still. _________________

I reckon I'll be out of SIMAP work early next week (I've got a little over 1000 of the 200,000 WU's still outstanding, and there's only ~10,000 still to send; that's ~1600 hours crunching spread over 35 cores, so ~4½ days*), and HoC is ~7 days behind me in Spinhenge, so it may just pan out alright says he, crossing everything, and with not a great deal of conviction in his tone.
*That'll leave me not much shy of ¼million - how're you doing?
BTW, KWSN's up to 21st (crunching @ 6th), and we may just manage to hit the front page with this batch of work. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

TOOT TOOT ..... too bad that the Beta WU's are finished my Linux box could help for closing up more quickly ......
Well nevermind I'll have a nice PGGB even if I don't climb up to #1 for a day or so
Cheers!

You wait hours for a bus, then four come along at once...
Since this batch of SIMAP started, APS then Lattice started producing work again, now LHC has chipped in. And I nearly forgot Pirates, aargh.
Now it only needs Docking and Proteins to get going again and I'm well and truly up the proverbial without a whatsit. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

Yahoo! KWSN has made the front page, now 20th in the World.
Keep it up for the next couple of batches and there's another 5 or 6 places for the taking. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.

Ahhh ... I see the SIMAP swarm is calculated and the troops are heading back for the lead in Spinhenge.
I've enjoyed the days on the top spot and now I'll sincerly await the coming storm.
I'll place an extra PGGB barrel at the drawbridge but that's all what I can do for now .......
Cheers and let them come ...
Cheers

Phew, PGGB gratefully accepted, Hic!
That was quite a marathon SIMAP session - 180k points added in 3 weeks!
Ah well, back to the normal daily grind. _________________ Creationists believe they never evolved; I agree with them.
