Leave it to Sir Baldy to end a serious discussion by mentioning Sir Fart. Razz
I don't know if we're going to be called earth citizens in the future, or like in Star Trek; Confederation or Starfleet.
I do think that in the near future, 20% of the earths population is living in cyberspace while the other 80% of the population is still fighting for survival to get food or fleeing a war zone. Some things will never change even though in Star Trek you get the impression that Utopia on earth did start with the exploration of Space.

Well, you know what they say in Star Trek:

"Borg? Sounds Swedish..." Cool

Prepare to be assimilated. Resistance is futile. #Robot

Kan någon skicka surströmmingen tack?

Never heard of borg in Sweden.
I only know Børk.
Speaking of Swedish language. Mildew, can you translate this for me :"Orn desh, dee born desh, de umn børk! børk! børk!"

It's from one of my favourite tv-series. but I have no clue as what the guy is saying.

Well, Seven of Nine was swedish too (pre borg name Annika Hansen) so there might be a connection.

Not many people your age would be so brave as to confess that the Muppet Show is their favourite TV-series Wink

The quote is a killer joke, way too powerful for your feeble Kow brain to handle.
A translation will be used by the Swedish Joke Brigade when we start taking over the world! Twisted Evil

Surströmming is not for the faint-hearted, Swedes included. One way of eating it is wrapped in thin slices of local bread (tünnbrod). Fillet the fish and roll it up in the bread along with raw onion and boiled potato. Potato of course is not part of the traditional recipe. A generous amount of vodka or aquavit is recommended, as an accompaniment if not for dutch courage before eating. Some people drink beer or milk with it.

If canned, opening the tin is usually done underwater since the fermentation causes a buildup of gases that results in a squirt of smelly stuff when the tin is punctured.

One should definitely have a PGGB to go with it....
