There's no way in hell we'll ever catch them, they're doing almost 3x our RAC. In fact, only one other team is doing more RAC than they are in all of BOINC.

I saw them coming a week or 2 ago. There was no chance of ever holding them off.

It's not looking to ogood for holding off XtremeSystems (currently # Cool either. Their RAC is a good 60K higher per day then ours. Granted it will take them a year to do it, but unless we step up, there is no chance to hold them off either.

The scary thing is, given the changes coming in computers, 60k/day isn't all that much any more. Couple of quad cores, and some of the new Penryn v8's, and you've got it covered. Now if only I could find that winning lotto ticket...
