Why do you say "first?" They specifically say right in the article that it wasn't the first. I don't even remember this game, but I played plenty in the genre like Zork. _________________

I actually remember playing "Adventure' many many years ago.
I do not remeber what type of computer was used.
I do remember meeting the 'Snake' and trying everything I could think of the pass it, but to no avail.
Eventually, someone suggested saying "*@#$ the Snake".
The reply was something like "Having sexual congress with a snake is not recommended and is decidedly kinky!!" _________________ KWSN Sir CADCAM of the Wooden Rabbit

Used to play it on a TI 990/12 Mini in the late 70's. Written in Fortran, it was more fun to hack than it was to play! _________________

Is this game online now? It seems interesting. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

The link isn't working today.
If this is what I think it is, I first played in on a Sigma 7 time sharing system back around 1976-77. I recall that it had many humorous responses when you tried to do something impractical.
