Just passed 500K on SETI, expecting 1M combined this week.
OOO! I just noticed I picked up another 0.1%, I'll make it to 99.9xx yet!
The real RAC (projects combined) is just shy of 10,000 and climbing. _________________

What's even nicer, tonight I should break 1,000,000 combined. Think I'll have to have a beer and watch it tick over (geek's new year's eve?).

Went past it already, it's the BoincStats lag. Between the projects xml run times and the BoincStats runs, the sig is about 6,000 low. _________________

Congrats to you then!
I wish my sig was 6000 (or more) low.... It's correct. _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

If the stars line up just right, I have an outside chance at 500K by the end of the year.... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

It was staying pretty close till I got (or is that went) mad and bought the new Mac. Although looking at my last electric bill could change things. Ouch!
I just noticed- I'm in the top 3000 now also. _________________

Yeah, I have plans for a quad by the end of the year, but it won't be anything uber. Just a Q6600 (deeply discounted by then - they're already down to $282 online since the price cut Monday) with a mild overclock. It's actually faster per-core than my current E6400, so it will serve as a nice upgrade for gaming (especially since I plan to clock it up from 2.4 to 2.8-3.0 depending how happy it is) and will seriously kick my BOINC score in the pants.
With the overclock, it should be good for 2,000 RAC assuming I give it 2 low credit projects that give my E6400s around 350/day and two high credit projects that give my E6400s 600-800/day. That still won't be enough to stop you from charging into the distance, as you're already 3,000 RAC ahead of me and still climbing hehe. Maybe if I had it running 4 instances of the optimized SETI app lol. _________________

Heck, msattler is getting 5000+ out of an over-clocked Q6600!

Yeah, optimized SETI app. Though my RAC is down still from the huge crash at SETI, one core of my E6400 (stock clock) is good for ~800/day.
http://boincstats.com/stats/host_graph.php?pr=sah&id=2947583
With 4 cores, running way faster (2.6-2.8 GHz vs 2.13), it's not hard to believe 5,000/day. But I don't want to do that. I AM a credit whore, but I like to have lots of active projects. Just look at the list lol:
There are only two zero RACs, one is a down project (and soon to be another, since Proteins is taking a break) and the other I just dislike (too many errored work units that take months each).
Interestingly enough, the 2nd biggest RAC is QMC, which is also only getting 1 core of an E6400. Guess their app really likes Intel C2D procs. _________________
