Hey John,
What's happening, man?
Is this Iraq? Is it the Gaza Strip?
Nope, it's near where I was born, on the England Wales border. Makes you think that the USA needs a change of Prez., doesn't it? Well it it does for me!

We're trying a new strategy: underground campaigning. The less people hear of us, the better we're doing. Obscurity has already raised our position in the polls significantly. _________________ A Shrubbery for Prez. Let's put more bushes in the whitehouse.

Your wisdom has no bounds, Sire. This way, also, we get to save on the campaign expenses, as well!! We could always pocket the cash and stay where we are, just like Italian politicians do. They're ALL very obscure, apart from that trans-sexual " Luxuria " who managed to worm his/her way into a seat of power, if you will pardon the pun. _________________ A Shrubbery For Prez!

P.S.
Does anyone remember " Cicciolina ", who, quite a few years ago managed to get into Italian Parliament. The prob. wasn't the stupid name, it was that she was a hard-core Porn star at the time.
Do any other governments have these, umm, INTERESTING aspects to them? _________________ A Shrubbery For Prez!

I remember that. It was interesting. Nothing interesting like that over here. Best we got was a cigar. At least for you when the government F'ed you over, they knew how to make you enjoy it... _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

Well, it's nice to see that we're all keeping Shrub's low-profile advice. Any lower and he might quietly slip into a parallel universe and actually become Prez. next year without anyone even noticing. I guess you wouldn't notice really if he happened to be in a different universe. Maybe family and friends might.
Do we have any quantum physics geeks in our midst who might be able to explain multiple existences and suchlike? _________________ A Shrubbery For Prez!

So, what do all you guys think about Mr. A. Gore's " Earth Day " thing? IMHO: I was an idealist when I was a Uni. student, fighting for everyone's rights and all. The Earth day ideal cannot be faulted; we must do the things illustrated by the concerts and short films and speeches, etc. to save the climate, hence our necks.
We all know what MUST be done to achieve this. The big problem is what the Italians call Il Dio Denaro, that is The great God, Money! How many political lobbies are scrabbling around trying to find flaws in Gore's ideals?
Being all grown up and stuff now, I don't think that the powers that be will do enough to save our fragile ecosystems. They will make the usual token gestures and then, when all the fuss has died down, try to bury any trace of these fundemental, ass saving, measures.
Any takers on this one?? _________________ A Shrubbery For Prez!

That is not difficult at the moment...... That guy is just not getting the hint that it is not going to happen for him. Maybe he gets the # 2 job...
As for Earth Day. I seem to recall reading that during the Earth Day festivities, more littering occurred then on any other day of the year....ummmm....sholdn't it be the exact opposite? _________________ Fetch me the Holy Hand Grenade!

UM,..... Excuse me but, HERE they are called "Freedom Fries".
We don't want to "Embolden" the French to start naming things like Vanilla ice cream and kisses now, do we?
