I remember when Kylie was at Great Keppel Island with INXS. Never saw Michael Hutchence until they did a special concert in one of the bars prior to a world tour, but the Farris brothers and Kirk Pengilly came into the Kafe regularly for some tucker. Always had a chat, and they weren't at all snobby. Kylie came in one day too but Des jumped in and served her before I could.   Tiny little slip of a girl in real life, and she looked quite different back then. She still looked a lot like when she was in Neighbours but older.
I don't know whether I'm looking forward to seeing her in Doctor Who or not, but she should do okay.

Its on the Doctor Who site as well. Was initially thinking this was just another Sun baseless rumor. Anyone know if Kylie has any ability to act at all?

She was in that soap thing a while back, but she couldn't act in that, so I'm guessing no!

She will just be in the Christmas special and then Martha returns part-way through next season. Then there will be two companions with the Doctor then.

I watched it back then and I'm still watching it now. It must be about 20 years since Kylie was in it.
KR - Does he have a new assistant at the start of the next season? Then Martha comes back in later?

The new assistant is comedienne/actress Catherine Tate (bringing back the character Donna Noble from the Christmas Special episode "The Runaway Bride")

Yes I have read that Martha will return part-way in season 4. So through the last half of season 4 the Doctor will have two female companions with him. So we start calling him Doctor Pimp now?

Thanks for the link! Moffat is such an outstanding writer. His sitcom "Coupling" was such brilliant work. IMHO, the first three seasons of that show are about as good as sitcoms can get. |
