I believe part of the whole thing is that they make references to local/current events during the performance.

For instance during the performance on Saturday the Lady of the Lake during her song (What about ME) she made a reference about the part being played by Brittany Spears (and made a shaving her head motion at the same time).

It's all good. From what I understand the KWSN also add to the name they change to as well.
