Too much heat? Do what I do- in the summer I move 3 of my 5 shubbers to the basement. (20 drg cooler than the house, eases the AC load on my office).
Here is the 4 I have down there (Cases, We don't need no stinking Cases!):

The race with Al will have to go on next time, unless of course he managed to load up on work this time in which case I'm toast. |
Don't worry too much, I only managed about 60 WU's. I think I've managed to close the gap slightly, the rest will have to wait.

Well , Umm , - just to comment on all of the above A/C fiddlin':
My First house was built in 1726
My Second in 1882
my third in 1928
my fourth in 1982
THEY all had heating problems !! (hot or cold) WITHOUT computer assistance .
The best is with the newest house + an A/C unit (@3000 Kw)
(don't need heating now at all , at all )
Power bill is less today (in real terms ) than in the electric/gas/solid fuel ) than 40 years ago : but heat controlls have been buil in now (insulation etc)
Wish I still had that 1726 house now , WORTH a Fortune

Jesus, that's scary.
I thought some of the stuff I had lashed together for my FrankenClone series (I'm up to Mark IX) was crazy, and I bow to your vastly superior lunacy.
I just knew I liked you! _________________

Err - Sir Brian, I think that Sir Jerwa just added a quad box to his intercontinental Borg network (or at least he will soon). I think he's also going to upgrade one of his local boxes to a quad, too. _________________

Yeah, but that won't make one whit of difference. Look at his RAC! LOL.
Even when I add the second quad and overclock it, it's unlikely it will make a big enough difference to close that gap. _________________
