Been using Site Advisor for a while and really like it. On Google, Yahoo and some other search engines that I can't recall, there is a color coding on whether or not the page is safe to go to.
Red=not safe
Yellow=use caution,
Green=safe,
Gray= not tested
Which can come in quite handy. It will also tell you the reason for the grading and you can submit sites for grading. Did you know that the win a free laptop spams you with close to 1k of e-mail a week? Or that the KWSN Forum here has been rated Green?
Anyway, I was on a gray site the other night and clicked on a link, than all of a sudden I found myself being re-directed to Site Advisor and a big message with something to the affect of "You have been redirected to Site Advisors website because the website you are trying to view uses browser exploits to try to infect your machine"
I had no idea that it would do something like that. I was more impressed than ever. So if you ain't got it. Think about getting it.
