Well, I've been busy finishing our most recent CD; it's taken 3 years to get everything recorded... (one year just to get the lead singer to show up and do all his parts, that's why we don't gig), and I just added a small harmony today, but it looks like it's time to mix down to two tracks and send it off to be mastered and make copies. I'm going to do a mastering as well to compare and see if we like it.

Still have to finish designing the cover art, and back info.

The small K, (who's almost as tall as I am now), is having a rough year in 4th grade. We quickly found out she has OCD, and after having her see one therapist who didn't do her any good, we've got her hooked up with a good one. Trying to keep the stress low for her.

Then I've got one of my kitties whose got some kind of hairball syndrome and pukes constantly. She's on Tagamet, a steroid, and tons of hairball gel. If she doesn't get better soon we're going to have to shave her! Shocked

The mental picture of that has me laughing all the time.

Grandma still has Alzheimers, and she's still a pain in the ass. She was a pain before the Alzheimers, it's just enhanced it.

My father is very ill, had a heart attack a few weeks ago. He's got emphazema, (sp?), chronic high blood pressure, and his kidney's are burnt out from all the BP meds he's had over the years. He's not going to be here much longer, but, in the long run, neither are we.

My asthma and allergies are gearing up for spring. I go for shots every 2 weeks now, big whoop. But I'm not getting as sick as I used to.

Still have to shop, do laundry, start dinner, and all of that fun kind of stuff. Then another full day tomorrow and back to work on Thursday. My boss at work just got married and is on her honeymoon for 2 weeks, so I have to try to do all the stuff she usually does, and I only work part time, so I'm triying to be a good girl and not attempt to do full time work with part time hours. It's not easy as I'm a bit OCD as well, or at least anal. Thank God I know it, neh?

Lady K,

I am so sorry to hear about your grandma and your father. I can understand what you're going through, because I went through a similar situation a couple of years ago. My grandfather died of Alzheimer's; it got so bad after a couple of months that we had to put him in an old people's home specialized for his condition. He died in October 2004 at the age of 92. My father was already ill with cancer, and was doing chemotherapy and stuff like that (which ultimately do nothing in heavy cases). My father died in February of 2005 at the age of 65.

Please tell about the band you're in, and when the CD is coming out. I would love to hear some of your music.

Lady K. - It sounds like you've had a real hectic time of it lately. Confused

I'm so sorry to hear about your father being so ill. I hope the new therapist is helping young Miss K. with her OCD. My daughter's friend is OCD, but she seems to cope with it okay from what I've seen.
Things will get better, and the sun will shine for you again.

Crazy man - Sorry I didn't put your name on the list. I did think of a few more after I wrote that but didn't get back to change it. Besides, I knew you'd be back anyway. It's the Looney Magnet (tm). You just can't stay away from it.
