Rosetta@home has been updated to version 5.51 -- our first update after CAPRI. This version has a nifty new 'cartoon' look for graphics. We'll also be testing a new mode to predict structures of RNA, an older cousin of DNA, that folds into interesting unique structures. For more details, see this post;

I'm running Rosetta 5.48. How do I upgrade to 5.51?

As far as I understand the Boinc manager will handle it. Your current shrubs will finish under the current software and when it downloads the new ones it will get what it needs and run those under the new software.

Eaving is correct. If you look in your task list you probably have some of both still. It will say application 5.48 for some, and 5.51 for the new ones (at least mine does, and I have some of both still).

Thanks, it finally updated on it's own. I ran the benchmarks, don't know if that helped, but afterwards it had the new version. My only concern was that I was a few versions behind and I did nearly as much shrubbing as I possibly could over the last few days. In all that shrubbing, a number of Rosetta shrubs came, got pruned and sent back, with no updates to the Rosetta version. Oh well, it's updated now so no problems for now. Cool

Or you could have just resetted the project and gotten the new 5.51 shrubs.
