Woke up this morning, looked out at the thermometer and it said.....

-35 Below F
That's WITHOUT wind chill factors...
In Celsius that works out to be....let's see....carry the one.....ummm.....well, like Hell freezing over or something like that....

Oh my sainted aunt!! Try putting hot coffee in the google search bar.  Mine is on moderate safe search, so I'd hate to think what would come up if it wasn't on moderate.

That's almost the same in Celcius actually.. -40F = -40C. Where I'm from.. roughly WNW from Hell and 2000mi i'm a nice balmy 6C or ~40F

As I'm roughly SWS from Dagger, it's pretty close to the same. Cooler today as it's down to the mid 40's F, but over the weekend it was sunny and mid 50's.

Actually about 1/2 mile away it was -39 below....

Well, the scenery on one side looks like photos from Mariner with the 180° view being the ocean to the south, but with the wind chill and everything it got down to a brisk 58° F here last night. Actually wanted a blanket ...
Speaking of which did you hear about the 87-year-old woman
who had her yarn and knitting needles taken away
as she was boarding a flight out here (Hawaii) ...
the TSA officers were afraid she might knit an Afghan.
