Oh darn. I just read the post & while they aren't saying what they are announcing yet, they ARE saying that they are NOT announcing a positive hit.

yep seti is too big, with too many users shrubbing for them IMHO ......
Einstein, rosetta, malaria, spinhenge, nanohive, lhc and cpdn.... to name a few, they're doing true science.... not mucking around looking for little green men.....
If the little green men really wanted to talk to us they would... and we'd all know about it......
that said if you want to look, do so by all means, but there's outher stuff out there too.... plus we mustn't forget most of us prably come into DC through seti in the first place......
